Update your rig status here!
1 tons are under the K-5, e-brake works decent. Regular brakes not hooked up yet.

Doors on, all pieces and parts inside it except for one of the seven tires I have for it.

Front clip still sitting in the yard.

It awaits someone to pull it on the trailer (Wayne did you say you had a winch setup for the trailer?) then it goes to it's new home where hopefully I'll get her finished soon.

All I can say is that the 56" spring conversion and shackle flip turned out great. Sits perfectly level, and has a pretty soft feel to it. No shocks installed yet, have a rear one that is stuck and will need the bolt cut. GRRR

This is off the website,

Built from rugged 1-1/2" diameter x .120" wall tubing and plated with 1/8" thick steel, these fenders will hold up on the trail.

Hood cut and fenders mounted for fit test, I have to trim the hood some and grind some more off the pass side rocker guard but I should have this thing back together by tomorrow night!

Not sure if I mentioned it - but I bought a 1998 XJ Sport, Black, 4.0L, 5spd, 3" Rustys lift, and 31" MTs to be a functional replacement of my '94 XJ. I'll be keeping the '94 for now, it will be my tow rig for the boat...

Too busy working on everything else...

Have 1 of my rear air bags installed...
Need to check out tow truck lift arm catch that isn't working properly
Skitzo starts and runs... but no choke so it is a pain
Need to rebuild 454 and install in Blazer... still.

I don't think you have time to moveSmile

I hear you there.

Mine is functional but when I have time I need to get it in the garage to swap in the 5-speed, finish the rear bumper, and do some tweaking to the suspension.

BIGBOY - wheelable but need to swap in the 5 speed and finish rear bumper ASAP.
Calico - may get to it someday haha.
79 DD - started assembling the motor and found bad manifolds.
Now I'm trying to decide what to do. I have what I think is a good 5.0(still have test it) and the 460 from Calico. I have all the parts to install either. I could still use the 300-6 but it would require $ for new manifolds. I'll probably use one of the V8's and sell the 300 long block to fund BIGBOY's tranny swap.

85 buggy good to roll but winch is iffy i blew both sets os selinoids on the warn and woring on one set left on the milemarker ..need better system for selinoids ..in the cold i kill one almost every 4 or 5 heavy pulls ..not so bad in the warm summer wheeling .

i picked up a full set of dana 60 axles with 4.10's . still need a cab for this project race truck and one more set of coil buckets . but i have a good start ..

so many ideas but nothing standing out for final answer . rear engine ,mid engine short wheel base or long .. ?

hp will be in 500 range without gas and about 650 with .

4 spd or auto ? i have both ...

I say mount the motor in the stock position if used primarily on the trail for simplicity. But for mud dragging mount it in the rear.

For the rear motor mounted set up, did you plan on running the truck in reverse? Mounting the motor backwards? Making it a primarily front wheel drive? Sorry for all the questions. But I'm very interested!

I finally made the time to change the u-joint and stub shaft which I broke on the 55-mile run. Man the NAPA brand u-joint was tiny compared to the Spicer one I replaced it with. Note to self, either keep quality spares on hand or wait until Monday to buy the good stuff.

K9 legal and overheating. Reba parked in the garage for some needed rest. Need to find a home for my troopers and need to fix my utility trailer. Maybe a radiator flush and finding a correct cooling fan for K9.

I have a fan from my 350 tbi . Best price. Free!

if that fan works, I can transport half way but you would need to let me know in the next hour

The slightly better shoes are on the K-5. Hoping to go out late this evening and put a few more touches on.
