Speaking of diesels:
99 3/4 ton Suburban - 6.5 turbo diesel - will not start. I'm suspecting the winterization components have failed...
As well, the t-case in it has gone kaputs. It will pop out of 2wd going down the highway and the chain slips (with loud popping noise) in 4wd and it leaks fluid in great abundance.
Thus leaves us - a family of 5 - with 1 running standard cab beat to crap but starts every day 75 Chevy pickup... At least that has been it's normal reliable self!
In the garage is the '85 6.2 suburban - it is an hour or so away from running. needs fuel lines bled, glow plugs installed, wires attached to glow plugs, antifreeze added, and a few othe miscellaneous items like air cleaner housing, buddy heater, etc...
Anyone gonna be around and off work around 9:30 or 10 that I can call if this dies a mile from the house?
