I was thinking about having all in one, but decided against it. DD is 1/2 ton and will only be on 33's. Small enough where the wife can drive it if she needs to.
"Work truck" will have 35's and will be very off road capable. Keeping heavy rear springs for payload and towing. This will be decent enough to drive if I am working on the DD.
Plow truck has the front plow mounting frame has no ground clearance at all. I wouldn't want to take this off road at all, in fact it will probably keep studded tires on it and only be driven in the winter.
Buggy truck is for fun. Going big lift (maybe 10" to 12") and big tires, don't really want to drive it on the street too much.
Two trucks are diesel and don't need I/M. Yes, I will need registrations for all of them, but this isn't too expensive. Insurance is pretty cheap, I need to check if they give me a better deal since I surely can drive all four trucks at once.
The four trucks doesn't include the 5th one I have for parts It is nice that all trucks will be able to interchange most body parts. 4 are long beds and one short bed. I'm already buying Chevy parts like you wouldn't believe. In fact, it's hard to pass up a good deal on parts even if I don't need them right now
