To figure out where your front mount needs to go, don't guess. Jack it up, remove the shackles and place a block of wood between the spring eyes and the bottom of the frame. Make sure that the block of wood is just a little shy of the combined height of your spring mount and shackle. From the looks of it, a piece of 4x4 should be pretty close.
This should allow your springs to settle to there full loaded length so that you can get your shackle angle right the first time.
