Update your rig status here!
I had an Isuzu D44 at my place with factory 4.56's and drums that I sold/gave to Mark about a year ago.

Waggy front is the way to go with the isuzu rear end.

Replaced the upper rad hose on the Suburban that's been held together with electrical tape for many months.

Moved all vehicles into the stable, they fit and I can still move around to get at my stuff. AWESOME!!!

Started tearing apart a intake manifold on a 99 Suburban

Troubleshot window washers on my Burb

Battery charging

Picking through the pieces to find a PS pump, and a container of 6.2L stuff I placed on Kevin's bench in either late 06 or really early 07 that had not moved since I placed it which was good, as I needed a few glow plugs. Now to find my injector socket so I can pull mine to test them and swap any that are bad.

A minivan tested and a dealership that is lucky I don't live close to them anymore. (Had a dealer put a tester on the van's ABS system and tell me that the control module was bad, and all the sensors were working because of the codes, well I just pulled the codes and I have two bad wheel speed sensors and no faults from the control module.) At least the sensors are only $40 for both, where the control module was closer to $600.

Picked up a complete waggy front end locking hub to locking hub today for 50.00
then the guy threw in the matching rear d44 and a ftont driveshaft just to clean out his garage. I am going to have to narrow the front a few inches to make it stock YJ width and so it matches the iszuzu rear end. while I got the C's off I am going to turn correct the pinion angle. so I will knock out two birsd with one stone.

SAV :
1. Pulled the glow plugs, found a bad one, and wiring to another shorted
2. Went to slide the t-case back to reseal it and found five of the six bolts very loose and the t-case already partially back, meaning one bolt missing. Tightened the bolts I had, and laughed as it has now stopped leaking.
3. Had thought about swapping the front axle, but decided to help Kev out today.
4. Need to swap the PS pump, as the current one is dead.

When I was planning this I also re-used the velcro so I could re-used Hard Top liner that I bought from California Tops a couple of winters ago and it looks like this,

I managed to finish the front bumper last week. That's after starting it over a year ago. Nothing else done. waiting on an axle decision before I have a new driveshaft made. D30 axle shafts will hopefully be replaced before too long so I can run 4wd again.

Back to where I started, ball joints apparently weren't bad as I thought...I need to work on my diagnostic abilities i guess. "New" unit bearings don't work, they're for a newer Jeep with a 5x5 bolt pattern. I should have known since the axles they came off of were CV, not u-joint. And apparently they're both bad, even the one I just had replaced a little while back. Stupid Jeep...why can't they use better parts? Trail rated...phht. :p

I also apparently need to change my ujoints out in the front...that might solve another of my issues. I'll be out today returning the ball joints and pricing out some ujoints instead.

New to me track bar fixed and installed. It was the old style L shaped Track bar so it needed to be bent into a Z shaped Track Bar to clear the diff cover. Now I need to get it out on the trail and truely test it out.

Its hard to find someplace on base to test out your flex.

Grizzlybeaver still for sale but I haven't been pushing it at all. It'll get a new windshield in the next week or so and hit the lemon lot.

Wheel tracks ordered for the LJ! "American Track Truck". I'll be building the trail trailer this fall while Megan's gone to school from mid Oct through mid Dec.
