dry fire wood needed
#1
So it looks like the firewood i got from kevin today was a bit wet still. Which is understandable since i cut it today. However with the wind gusts (high pressure) and moist wood combo i am getting smoke - blow back through the chimney connections.

Anyone able to spot me about a half cord of dry spruce or birch to help get the stove hot enough to burn the wet stuff? I typically dont like to burn wet wood but this was my first winter burning wood that i cut myself and i came up a little short. I plan on cutting and drying wood this summer and can give some back before next winter. I could also do some fabrication work !
