No it won't, but I didn't want to mount the tire any higher then it is now.

What if you end up going with a bigger tire? Will you be able to fit a 40" IROK in there or will you have to modify the carrier? It looks like you could space the tire forward toward the tailgate some if you needed a little more space.

You know thats a good point.... What are you going to do when you change tire sizes?

I drilled the mount to fit both a 5 or 6 lug rim. I left room between the tailgate so all I had to do was space the tire in some and that would let a larger tire fit in there. Not sure just how big I could go, but It wouldn’t be all that hard to do another one and sell this one for a few bucks if I went a lot larger. If I end up running 40”s for winter tires I’m not getting a spare one.

Hey Eric how did you make those body panels in the rear?

I tried a few times but just couldn’t get the bend right. These are Off Your Rocker corner guards. I’m a dealer for them now. I ordered them with nothing but the gas filer hole and tailgate hinges cut out. I then marked where my LEDs where and cut the out on my drill press. The corners come however you wish. Normally they are powder coated but I would have had to grind it off to weld to them so I ordered them plain steel. You can also get them in diamond plate, which is a bit thicker. If you interested in getting a set of corner guards let me know.

I was up till almost 2am last night working on this set up. I cut the corner panels out and decided that if I had it apart I would trim more off the Jeep too. I took about 3 or so more inches off the rear wheel wells, sprayed some under coating on the inside of the wheel wells, mounted the CB antenna mount to the new armor, drilled all the new holes to hang the flares and made the right side bracket for the upper tire hinge. I drooped them off at the powder coater and they where done tonight. I will be picking them up in the morning. This wouldn’t so bad if I was working on just one project rig.
