I would actually prefer the off-road rig, but what good would that do me if I didn't have the gas to go with it

I figured most would say a knife. It is truly one of the most important survival tools. You can do so much if you start with a knife. But You all don't think outside the box enough. My vote is a boyscout. Think about it, Always Prepared. They will have all the stuff you need for survival with them. Then if things get really bad you could just cook them up for dinner if need be and take all their supplies.
