The one thing I noticed is that there is unrestricted use during the winter months due to ground freeze, but marked trails only during the summer. Has it always been this way?

Also, I see that we need to attend a 30 minute class at the FTWW outdoor rec area. In the past it was just one person had to have attended, it doesnt say that anymore.
