alrighty, instead of making a new thread, I'll just bump this one.
Does anyone here have experience removing locking lug nuts, preferrably (but not necessarily) preventing their destruction? (For the smart-alecs like me out there...without the key which I no longer possess.)
Also, I need a U-joint and at least the passenger's side U-bearing changed out. The bearing was calling my name today on the way to my interview.
I'd like to get this done by this weekend, definitely before Feb 1 when I leave...and I'll need a place. I hate bumming other peoples' garages and tools but hopefully by at least this time next year I'll be able to pass on the favor.
Warning: the last U-joint took forever to change, because the caps were seized. Mark and Donald know all about it. I'll try to soak this one in PB Blaster beforehand but with the cold, I'm not sure it'll work well at all.
I might also get my lights hooked up as well as my CB antenna and the peaked and tuned CB I got from Mark wired in, but those aren't priorities...I can do that on my off-time up at camp.
