But at that 60mph my engine would be screaming at 2k...not good for fuel economy driving to and from the trail. turning 6 46's, I'd need all the help I can get.

I'm sure the deuce is scary but that's because it's got pinion brakes and skinny tires on the front so it'll be twitchy...big wide 46" mickeys should be a little more comfortable, maybe. I wouldn't want to go much faster than that anyway but I'd like to have at least a moderate engine rpm while doing it.
