Sounds to me like a good kit for the price. I have a 3" 30' keeper that's rated around 12,000 or so (can't remember off the top of my head) that I got at 6 Roblees for $80. I just might have to save up and get one of these kit's for myself.

Here are my thoughts, some of this stuff is not needed IMO...
(2) 6’ tree saver winch straps rated for up to 8000 lbs (1) 8 Ton capacity snatch block (1) 15’ tow strap rated for up to 8000 lbs (1) 25' long 4” wide tow strap rated for 15,000 lbs (1) Water proof headlamp with batteries & spare bulb (1) Winch cable pulling handle (1) heavy-duty pair of split leather work gloves. Go to AIH, you can get this stuff there... 1 - 6-8' tree saver, rated at 15,000 to 18,000 lbs ($30) 1 - Snatch Block ($40-$50) 1 - snatch strap 20 to 30', 20,000 lb rating ($25) 1 - Pair of leather work gloves that are way better quality ($10) The cable handle, headlamp, and tow strap are not NEEDED and if you really have your heart set you could find cheap locally. So grand total from AIH would be anywhere from $110 to $125, then throw in the cost of the shipping from the "kit" and there is more savings...but most importantly you'll get some better quality stuff here IMO...

It is cheaper than the Warn kit that I just got, with more stuff. I dont know how things up here but with the hook on the snatch block, wouldn't fly down at Hot springs or back in the states.
