today i was doing the brakes on my new truck when i discovered that the previous owner didnt belive in maintance of any sort. its a 91 chevy 1500 pickup truck with the ifs. the caliper bolts to the spindle, and there is no way to tap it bigger cause it uses a special bolt. so anyone got any ideas on how to fix this

Helicoil? Not the greatest fix when you're talking about brakes, but someties the only option.

looking at it again today i think i may be able to tap it for a sligthy larger thread

well after some serious redneck engineering i got it fixed. now onto the 4wd
