Is this too big? - Chetnak - 27 Apr 06 Here is a pic of a YJ with a 3" lift SOA with 35's This is how big mine will be after I do my SOA. :feedback: http://www.jeepguide.com/gallery_thumb.php?f=galleries/lifts/317.jpg&w=480&h=360&q=50 And another one this one has a 4.5 springs http://www.jeepguide.com/gallery_thumb.php?f=galleries/lifts/227.jpg&w=480&h=360&q=50 http://www.jeepguide.com/gallery_thumb.php?f=galleries/lifts/228.jpg&w=480&h=360&q=50 Is this too big? - 4x4_MMMH_4x4 - 28 Apr 06 its never to big... Is this too big? - AKMark - 28 Apr 06 Just make sure you get some bigger tires to go with it. Is this too big? - Chetnak - 28 Apr 06 I'm going to when I get back to the lower 48 (my 35's don't even have 2,000 miles on them) Is this too big? - Jamakeit - 28 Apr 06 As soon as I got down here I seen how the Yeti height would be a problem. SOA on waggy fronts and a 1" BL with a shackle lift of about 3" on original build. I removed the BL, cut down the front shackle to stock length and left the back slightly longer for weight, and did alot of fender choping without the comp cut(street legal is still a good thing if needed). It feels alot more stable and still gets full flex on my 38's my only draw back is not having a anti-wrap bar as that is becoming an issue with spring break-in, but that is a project for the Jamake-it garage thats under way. I was going to actually pm'ing pretty soon, Cause I love the set up that you have. I don't plan on doing a BL, I plan on extending the wheel base and getting 1.5 springs instead of the 3.5 that I have. I'm going to install an anti-wrap bar also. Is this too big? - nissan720 - 28 Apr 06 i think if you get some bigger and wider tires i think you well be fine.
