alost of the major r/c magazines have a tips and tricks forum for building and working on r/c cars. post up what you have used or any ideas.

1. this is for us who love to run our cars in the mud, water and snow. if you happen to get water into your electroinc after your run put you ecs, recievers and servos into a tuperware container filled with rice. the rice will pull the moisture out of the electronics.

2. to waterproof some of your electronics take a small plasitc bag and put your esc and/or recievers in the bag. route you wires out the opening in the back and secure it close with a ziptie. add a dab of shoe glue or silicone to make a waterproof seal.

3. for nitro engines starting the glow plug can be difficult some times. slide a piece of fuel tubing over the glow plug. this will allow you to start to thread the plug into the head easier before you can put your wrench on it.
