The soft top does more insulation...if only it didn't have so many drafts. Best of both worlds would be to line the inside of the top with some foam or fabric...or even herculiner. If it's a bestop...then forget all that as they're pretty heavy duty and well insulated. Yeah its an old (read OLD) factory hard top but I figured it would be better to have than the bikini top I usually run year round in Florida, Once I get up there and settled in I will be in on some meetings and rides and check out others rigs and do mine up accordingly, I got to make it as insulated as possible because 99% of the time when I wheel I have my 3 y/o daughter with me she loves daddy's jeep. Thanks for the advice! Update your rig status here! - Jackrabbit - 10 Jul 07 Well I findly found some time to work on the Jeep, New seat covers (custom with AO patches), New seat heaters New and improved Bat wing bumper, I bought the MM 12K to put on Rokee FSJ, and it has been sitting in the cabin so I decided to put it on the Heep. The ARB and compressor are sitting mothballed until after the PCS. I did rip out all of the carpet this evening, so I am down to floorboard. I still have not found a T case or a rear axle that suits the needs yet, but that is half the fun, isnt it? The journey is worth as much as the destination.
