98 TJ Upgrades - LowNSlowNeon - 15 Mar 06 Im pretty sure you can get a 12.5" tire on a 15x7 rim. 98 TJ Upgrades - TJVigilante - 15 Mar 06 1.5" spacers would be perfect. 98 TJ Upgrades - mousee - 15 Mar 06 LowNSlowNeon Wrote:Im pretty sure you can get a 12.5" tire on a 15x7 rim. You can FIT a 12.50 on a 4.5" wide wheel. But the minimum recommended is 8" . I wouldn't do it unless it never see's the street. 98 TJ Upgrades - jeepin_al - 15 Mar 06 Go with a replacement wheel, if she likes the look of a stock Jeep then she could consider the canyon rims that came with the 30" tire group. They are an 8" wheel but you would still need spacers. Something I have seen that worked well and looked good was a guy running 33" MTR's on stock rubicon wheels with spidertrax spacers. Here is a link. In the article they are even using the canyon wheels. It is an axpensive way to do it but keeps a pretty stock appearance. http://www.rockcrawler.com/techreports/spidertrax_spacers/index.asp |
