I really wish we could buy these rigs in the States...

This is me wheeling my rental car in Costa Rica just a few days ago. We wheeled the Jimny at altitudes exceeding 10,000 feet. It's safe to say that I had more problems at this altitude than the Suzuki did. I loved this rig - it's basically the old Samurai with quite a few improvements. The coil sprung long arm suspension was probably my favorite part - I see this as a very easy rig to build up.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Smile
Does it have a solid front axle? It looks like it from the way the tires tilt. What kind of engine?

Sweet.
1.3 DOHC 4 cyl, Coil spring suspension, 4.11 gears. sweet!!!!!
Probably doesn't pass DOT regs for crash and other issues.

Cool little rig though.

Yup. Solid axles front and rear. It would be really easy to utilize some sort of antisway bar disconnect to get more travel from the front.

The suspension setup reminds me of a hybrid setup between my Land Rover Disco I (factory long arms and both diffs offset to the same side) and my old Jeep ZJ (shock and coil spring setup).

Apparently they're also available with a 1.5L diesel.
