Who is going to the drags on saturday?
Depending on the health of myself and my rig - I'll be there.
I will be in the pits with the service truck and pressure washer. Free use for club members.
So far I've found the wiring issue with Skitzo, removed the spare tire and tools from the storage compartment. Removed rear winch. 5 bolts and 3 nuts and the front winch will be removed.
Next is to test the launchability of the trans - wether or not it will work ok for 3 runs through the goo - and the quickness of it's launch. As long as it launches fairly well off a line, It's a GO!
Unfortunately I can't hold it in 1st gear for as long as I want - neither will I be able to downshift when I choose - but hey - it'll be fun anyway, right!?!?
I'm getting psyched!
Next week I'll start the trans swap.
