Post an obscure photo from a trail ride you've been on. It can be scenery, an obstacle, a groupshot from the trail head, anything.
Then everyone can make guesses. Please, when guessing, include the post number from the top right corner of each post.
Any additional trivia about the photo is extra credit. Date, being on that run, what was happening, names of people in the cabkground...
#3 is FCT The Brook's Range is in the background.
#2 is what you then called Donner.
Looks different today with a different name.
#4 I don't have a guess.
#4 Manchu would be my guess.
#3 was in September 2003. By the angle of the sun, probably around the 19th, early afternoon.
I'm going to say the first one (#2) is Fairbanks Creek trail before the fires and the overhaul to the trail. But I'd never been on it until after the fire roads were built so I'm just going off of the small amount of scenery.
#2 is Banner. Redmond was the old name.
#3 in infact FCT.

I don't have access to my pics here. I'll post up later. I'll be sure to change the name of my pictures though...
I knew #2 was Banner. I thought Donner wasn't right, but couldn't quite remember the correct name. That, and it was close to lunchtime.
Good pics. Kinda makes a guy want to go take his wife's daily driver onto a trail this weekend <shameless plug>

For clarification they are posts #10, #11, #12.
Now can you name the M&G trail?, The standard creek details, like what was going on during the time frame.
M&G, I'll those details for someone who wasn't there
2006 Standard Ck. I think this is Mel waiting for Holeski, Slats and TJV to get unstuck, before we all started back down the main trail to the
Bridgebuild. Good times.
#12 is Boulder Creek.
Interesting facts:
* That pic was taken after the buggy had been parked for 4 hours. Note the rigs in the background are facing the other direction.
* Lance is the last name of the photographer. A super-nice guy, and a invaluable asset to our sport in Alaska.
* 50% of those pictured currenlty live outside the FNSB.
* picture snapped approximately 10 pm, 1 hour before a surprise meal and the quote of the decade, "This is the best it's ever been."
