No, he's just got a clunk and he's trying to figure out why.
Little zuk just got the front axle output shaft seal done and an oil change. Big zuk waiting for the clutch to get done.
XJ gets pulled into the garage tonight to figure out the ARB leak. Most likely the blue line busted. I only have about 6-8" of it outside the vehicle but that's enough. Probably going to go to AK rubber to get the line like Ole was running. Need to look the whole rig over before jakes run since I haven't done anything with it in months.
Dodge truck needs a new heater motor. Can't find one ashipping at MSI or anywhere, so my dad is going to the dodge dealer back home and seeing how much it is then shipping it up to me, I refuse to give Genes any money. Or maybe someone else can check a price since they no longer order from Gene's?
Just broomed the snow off the jeep and backed it in the garage to make sure everything is up to par for Jake's Run and to mount my new hi-lift. Brrr
ARB fixed. User fault. The way the blue line was ran to the compressor I had gottem my foot caught on it once before and it put a kink in it right at the fitting allowing some air to leak. now to either weld the exhaust back up or just rip it the resst of the way outl the (all the emissions stuff is still there), or I do have a cherry bomb
. And it needs cleaned out bad.
Exhaust is all done on the XJ. The cherry bomb tucks up better than with the previous muffler. The welds are ugly but I'm pretty sure they are good and may only have a cpl pin holes. Almost finished up the bumper today but the dodge seemed mad at me for leaving it outside all night and all day so the XJ has to leave the garage. I wanted to do one more mod before jakes that involves some wiring and a cool little toy someone decided to get rid of, but that will have to wait.
In my continuing to refuse to give Gene's money my dad is checking on the blower motor for the dodge for me back in wv.
Rubicon express upper control arms installed, new lights hooked up,cb waiting to be installed
I cut my cat and muffler off and replaced it with a new turbo, should have just straight piped it, not loud enough! Got some weather striping on the doors, should make it a little warmer to drive. Scabbed back part of my fender flare. Still need to install my CB.
she is alive and well folks !! the 85 is back in buisness ! took her out on her 1st break in run with the new motor , suspension and steering !
we went out to the knik glacier hitting 3.5 foot drifts ..she did great ..
only issue i had today was i keep loosing brake pedal so rebled it on the trail and did beter coming home but still not all there yet .. so i will defrost everything and hit it again ..
thanks to all who had helped with this build ...its been along build but seems to be well worth the effort ..
Awesome! you gotta love that payoff for all the work.

Something I tend to forget myself when bleeding is to make sure the truck is parked on an incline (pointing up or down depending on the angle your master cylinder sits at) so all the bubbles come out of the MC. You can bleed a gallon of fluid through the lines and still have bubbles if you're sitting at the wrong angle.
Great to see a project hit the trail!
transmission lines blown, still
planning on replacing the whole coolant return system in the spring
Thick diff cover installed on rear replacing tin foil one I bent.
Factory roof rack reinstalled but 1/2 length.
Hi-lift jack mount installed on roof.
New radiator installed... No Leaks!!!!!!
New battery heater.
New 10" speaker.
Installed kegorator.
NO wait that was just a dream I had.....
and a bunch of other crap I can't remember right now. It is a Jeep.....
OH yeah.... I installed my Arcticoffroad sticker! I initially did it for it's horsepower increases but then I found out what a chick magnet it was and have plans for a tattoo....
CHOKE FIXED!!!!!!!
Ha.. this has been an issue for me since I got my first FSJ.
The little 3 prong thingy on my oil pump isn't just an idiot light, although I feel like one now, it's an oil switch that turns on my choke. Thanks Jeep for making it so complicated Chilton's and Haynes felt like omitting it.

Big Zuk.... what is that? I think it must be mythical like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster....
Well,it is bigger than a stock one. Not everyone needs a 86 wide vehicle.

That's true, I do wish the Hummer was a little less wide, that is by far it's biggest drawback
I am going to strench the wheelbase later to about 90 inchs.
New body mounts installed.
And the greastest thing I've done lately is find where that smell that's been driving me crazy for the last couple months came from.
**** Taco Hell :puke:
IT RUNS!!!!
still has a flat but that'll fixed today.
The dodge on the other hand has a second flat tire. >.<
The CUCV got some bling! My wife is getting into the whole Bulldog theme. I got a Mack Bulldog hood ornament and keychain. She also got me a little plastic bulldog bobblehead for the dash.
Now for functional items: Riddler D60 diff cover is installed and crossover steering is installed. I just got the weld on spring perches for the 14BFF so I can rotate my pinion angle and the u-bolt reversal kit to eliminate things from dragging underneath.
I got the Warn 16.5ti today and need to fab up the new front bumper. I'm trying to decide on the rear winch. I can keep the 10K winch on a multi-mount or build a underbed mount for the Ramsey 12K. The CUCV ought to be pretty much ready for most trails and recovery duty.
got my ride on the trail tonight and did some fine tuning and bit more testing after my last mishap .. all is good under the hood ..
she is finally getting tuned in even the ebrake works !!
