Awaiting new gear installationBig Grin
and arrival of lift
Jeep: Hillbillydodge came by and helped me get the YJ in the Garage, I thawed it out over night put a battery in it and it fired up on the first turn, Going to winterize it tommrrow.

Yota : No change
97: Running like a dream and has more grunt than before thanks to a different resistor on the Fuel selenoid driver. Ordering a Boost and EGT guage and 3-guage pillar (I already have a trans temp that I haven't installed yet) in the next few days and hope to get those in shortly after getting them.

91: Still waiting on the crankshaft from a buddy to fit it and get it back together and sold.

74: Departing soon to a good guy.

The next rig, may be a few years away, but plans and ideas are already in the works.
TuRD: Bought a brand new muffler from schmucks for $18.00 gonna install it tomorrow, I picked up a set of waggy springs from jackrabbit today and pulled the yota in the garage and started pulling the front end apart to build new spring packs to fit the 33inch tires, some observations These trucks flex surprisingly well once you take off the silly little sway bar, I am going to have to make some quick discos, the shocks are shot, going to wait to replace them because I am going to build some shock hoops and run long travle shocks, I really need to rebuild the steering knuckles and re pack the birfeilds, this will come sooner than later, this little truck marks its territory with coolant and oil. gonna investigate where she is bleeding from tomorrow.

HEEP: No change she is ready for the run on the first.
I got to ride in my ZJ last night. Rolleyes There's a weird clunk in the rear end. I'm thinking I may have anothe loose tracbar.
My father-in-law had the catalytic converter recall done on it, as well as replaced the plugs and wires. I guess a few hundred miles after he left my place, somewhere in Canada, the idiot light came on. I felt like a schmuck.
Evidentally he also had it detailed.
TuRD: Got the Waggoneer springs installed, Had to mod the spring perches, steering, and shackles. It lifted the truck about 3 inches in the front so it now sits bulldog about an inch. I got to get longer shocks but I am going to steal the ones off the jeep till i can find some that work. got to take my tires and mount them at the auto crafts shop on wainwright.

Heep: No change
hmm... shocks,

im trying to remember who else i know who needs new shocks as well...
just not, coming to me

as far as "nates-dream" goes (i just named my truck, like it?)...
i dont think the frame is doing well, so the suspension will have to wait till i can figure anymore out. maybe someday i can actually join this club and do a trail....

As seen in my Chief build the lil' Chief ZJ is currently on hold pending me getting my lazy butt up to do something.
-I need to buy a cone filter and ditch the stock air box so I can mount the ARB compressor under the hood in the spot where the stock air box was.
-The VF-9 hasnt moved since last week since I have not had a lot of time to do anythign with it. I need to get measurements for the oem spring buckets to rob so he can make me some to put on the VF-9

A lot of things are on hold pending a couple of telephone calls next week or the week after.
Finished up the TuRDs front end today, went to the Auto crafts shop and mounted the 33inch MTRS, the truck rides a lot better with the wagoneer springs than the stock ones, I don't have front shocks so the bumps are a bit violent, gonna order the shocks next payday. I also will be going to see the guys at Alaska rubber to get some longer brake lines. Hillbilly dodge brought me some steel he got at the transfer site that I am going to build a front bumper out of, also I got to go to Kelly's house and get some of that crating to rebuild a better flatbed. This pic is kinda crappy because it is dark I will take a better one tomorrow. Big thanks to James for all the help on the turd

Lookin good, I'm glad the springs worked for you.
And another DD gets lift/33s.
My time will come...
Lift installed Big Grin and gears in the process (Kevins)
He especially enjoyed having to deflate the tires to 5psi to get it in his garage:whistle:
gears installed and WOW 3.55 to 4.88 makes a world of differenceBig Grin
having a work party this weekend , going to be replacing the dead 22r in my 85 toy buggy with a 83 refreshed 22r and going to be preped for propane injection ..

hope to have her running by the stampede trail run ....

ARCTIC_EXPRESS

ZUKI: got the new motor and tranny mount for the zuki today
will order t-case cradle and mount tomarrow
99 Burb - bad t-case and starter and winterization
85 Burb - no overdrive or reverse
75 Pickup - annoying vacc leak that causes an occasional stall

Unfortunately - these three make up my DD fleet!
i got the motor pulled from the 85 ..need to start cleaning up the engine bay and get rid of all the IM and gas related stuff ..

i also switched over all the brackets over to the new motor and installed power steering and new alternator ..

once i have all the stuff ineed for the propane swap and unneeded manifold holes plugged she will be swung back in the engine bay ..

i have the donor chassis in my shop right now waiting for me to get off the puter and finish striping the axles and springs off it ..

Wish you lived closer I would ike to get in on that build, sounds cool
New radiator installed in the TJ along with a block heater. I also put in a new power steering pump awhile back. ARB Diff Cover, if you ever get a chance to see this thing in person you would probably think about getting one yourself. That thing is sweet!

Next on the to do list for the TJ: New A/C Pully, Valve cover gasket, fix leak in exhaust, rear axle seals and bearings, Aux. P/S cooler lines run, replace steering box, Adjust control arms and upgrade the rear breaks.

The WJ: Fix electric fan before it gets too warm out and it can't stay cool, rotate tires, install block heater.
99 Burb - t-case isn't rebuildable as it has a cracked housing - which would explain the fluid leak!

85 haven't looked yet, but may simply be the kickdown cable adjustment (it was broken and jurry rigged... I gues my E-tape fix failed at -35)

75 - doesn't have the vacc problems when it's above 0! Big Grin

However I blew an exhaust gasket yesterday - but it sure sounds a lot meaner!

Skitzo gear install is close ... but I may redo it with another pinion housing due to this one just not seeming right.

After gears it needs a fuel pump, and drive shafts installed - trans fluid topped off, timed, and it'll run on its own again.

Need brake lights, e-brake, and winch mounts fabbed for trail use.

77 Blazer sits staring angrily at me while I work on everything else... :errf:
It has sat for a lot longer, so it needs to remember you will get back to it eventually. You've kept it going this long, just a little longer and I'm sure it'll be having a good time again.
