I'd consider the powder coater if I had an oven that could handle the bake.

I have a friend with one similar and small stuff he does in his home oven.
I have availability to an oven, and a plug in the garage that would work. However, the problem I have is getting an oven big enough to do things like engine blocks, heads, etc...
If I had a big enough space, I'd use an oven's internals - maybe form two old electric ovens - and build a big enough oven box to hold bigger stuff.

I use to work in a shop helping make prosthetics and orthotics we used a old pizza oven to heat our plastic`s for creating orthotics and test sockets they where heated then vacuum formed over molds. Point being the old skool pizza ovens would work great and could possibly be found for a decent price. Although making your own would be cooler.
